Here is a tutorial sudoku teaching the X-sum constraint and aimed at first-timers. It is accessible, though not the easiest puzzle. When following the steps, it is build to showcase some common logic of this clue type. However, if you feel like it, or for more experienced solvers, feel free to solve it any way you like, there are no rules! (Except the following...)
Rules: Normal sudoku rules. Clues outside the grid indicate the sum of the first X digits in that row/column where X is the closest digit to the clue.

Fun solve. I got tripped up with the 15s on my first attempt, but once I kept my math straight, it was very straight forward.

Very enjoyable puzzle for a beginner like me. Some things I will (hopefully) remember.
I'll definitely have to try the other ones in the series!
