This puzzle was inspired by Qodec's amazing puzzle
Bad Thurmburg.Many thanks to sujoyku for testing and offering valuable feedback. I estimate the difficulty at 3.5/5. Hope you enjoy!
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Adjacent digits along a green line must differ by at least 5.
Battenburg: Whenever 2 odd and 2 even digits form a 2x2 checkerboard pattern, a Battenburg marking is given. If there is no such marking, the above pattern is not allowed. A number on a Battenburg marking indicates the sum of the 4 cells touching the marking.

Thank you for this beautiful parity puzzle, CaptZebraCakes! Testing it has been great fun. I think adding the given 5 was a good idea. It simplifies the logic a little bit without taking anything away from the elegance of the solve path. Great setting!
