I love this subgenre of sudoku where it's all about creating a beautiful image inside a 9x9 grid, and also it happens to be a valid sudoku :)
@nearestneighbour If you like the ones where I pay homage to art, try looking up "The Thinker by claude rodin", "Le Reve by pablo picasso", "American Gothic by Grant Wood", "Son of Man by rene magritte", "Starry night by vincent van gogh", "flora on sand by paul klee". Another fun puzzle from easily my favourite setter.
Having seen the real thing a couple of times, you see a couple of patches which are left uncleaned as a reference point for the constantly maintained areas. A nice nod to that would have been a randomly placed evens square.

Not 100% sure if the legs on the left sticky figure needs clarification, I made an assumption on what its shape meant, and I rolled with it, leading to a solution...
@chain.reader I had an initial concern about the bent leg also, but further review showed that it is guaranteed that the numbers can only increase from hip to foot. Thanks for playing and commenting. -Will Power

@PinkNickels Thanks so much for your comment. In January, 2023, I had a run of several works of art that I paid homage to. Have you completed those, and did you like them also? I also tried to make a sudoku out of "The Scream", by Edvard Munch, but couldn't get it to look like a piece of art. Maybe I'll revisit that one. Peace to you. -Will Power
