Normal sudoku rules apply.
Ying Yang: shade some cells so that all shaded and unshaded cells form 2 form orthogonally connected areas such that no 2x2 area is entirely shaded or unshaded, and all the digits values in the shaded area are negative values.
Killer Cages: VALUES in cages add up to the total in the corner.
Arrows: VALUES along an arrows path add up to the VALUE in the circle.
Kropki Dots: consecutive VALUES between 2 cells are indicated by a white dot, not all dots are given.
Note: On F-Puzzles you will need to turn off the conflict checker in settings because it does not recognize negative values.
Solution code: Column 7

Such a fun puzzle! Quite challenging without being complex or frustrating. Finished in 78 minutes, admittedly after a few restarts. Did you intend for some of the coloring to remain unresolved until near the end? I am fairly new to yin yang and this is my first solve of a puzzle that uses negatives, so I could have easily overlooked something.
~I am glad you enjoyed it.
A lot of these puzzles require you to solve the yin yang to finish the sudoku, but this one requires you to finish the sudoku to finish the yin yang. The idea is that both are equally part of the puzzle and solve.

Big thank you to Sudoku Sleuth for picking up this puzzle to highlight on their channel.
I am impressed with the very difficult solve path Sudoku Sleuth took, but it certainly worked. There was a cage that wasn't solved till near the end that had it been seen earlier would have made the solve much easier. (Don't want to say which one as to not spoil anything.)
Also, thank you to all the others who have solved!

Took me four tries, but it was just too good of a puzzle to give up one.
My main issue was the constant cofusion between different parities and polarities. It really works well, but calls for a bit more attention to detail than I'm comfortable with.
~I don't know if I should feel bad or really good that it took several tries but I am glad it kept you coming back. :)

Took me a couple of tries but I *really* enjoyed this puzzle.
~Glad to hear it. It takes a minute to get the positive and negative values straight, not too many sudokus do something like this.

it would have been nice needing the shading for the solution code, like all "shaded cells in column 7". however, I did use dingledork's tip to finish the shading myself :)
~Thanks for the tip. I actually didn't even think about that for the solution code. *Note to self for future puzzles.

Really fun and very approachable for a yin-yang puzzle. There's only a couple small tricks, but once you find them it solves very smoothly. Thanks The Bard!
~Thank you, and I am glad you enjoyed it.

That was fun. I made a wrong deduction on my first try, but the 2nd try was a quick solve for me.
~Glad to see you enjoyed it. Also glad that I am not the only one who trips up sometimes and needs to just start over.
