Very nice - many thanks. I know you always choose your titles carefully but this one has me baffled!

---I take it you get the "Octothorpe" bit -- it's one of the many acceptable names for the #-symbol.

The parenthetical abbreviation is: The Sudoku Puzzle Formerly Known As Hashtag.

This puzzle was due to be published months ago, as #SUDOKU, but then two days before, the prolific Will Self published a puzzle called Hashtag, and then on the morning it was due to go out published another with a similar title.

So I pulled it and changed its title.

Luckily, in fact, because in the interim I reworked the puzzle which led to a generally more interesting puzzle.

A beautiful work of art, this puzzle.
I'm stunned and impressed how the solve path leads you arround the grid. Each deduction feels rewarding.
Thank you very much.

---That's really nice of you to say, it's always appreciated. ---ATK
