Palindromeɘmoɿbnilɒᑫ

(Published on 1. April 2024, 12:00 by kierownik)

  1. Normal 9x9 sudoku rules apply: In every row, column and in every 3x3 box the digits from 1 to 9 have to appear atleast once with no repeats.
  2. Double arrows: The sum of the digits along a ‘double arrow’ line is equal to the sum of the digits in the circles at either end of the line. One double arrow goes from R1C4 to R7C5 and the other goes from R1C6 to R7C5.
  3. Killer cages: Digits in cages must sum to the number in the top-left corner(if givin) of the cage and cannot repeat.
  4. Palindrome(SEAGREEN): Digits on a palindrome line read the same forwards and backwards also the first 3 digits and the last 3 digits of a palindrome line are also a renban line.
  5. Renban lines(PURPLE): Every renban line contains a set of consecutive digits in any order, without repeats.
  6. XV-pairs: Cells joined by an X or V must sum to 10(X) or 5(V).

Roping puzzles always feel so satisfying to solve.
My only issue was that I had to start over because I just skimmed the rules and misinterpreted the way the arrow variant worked. But that's definitely not a setter problem. :D

This, to me, is the right level puzzle for one star. There seems to be a wide range—I got this one in 17 minutes while some one-stars can take me hours and/or I get stuck. Thanks for the puzzle.
