Normal sudoku rules apply.
Divide the grid into 3 orthogonally connected sections such that each pair of sections shares an edge and no 2x2 square in the grid belongs to a single section.
A digit in a circle indicates the number of circles in its section.
On section-sum lines, all adjacent groups of digits along the line which are part of the same section have the same sum. No line can be entirely in one section.
Solution code: Row 4 then column 4

This is a masterpiece! Even though I've set some 3-colors YY in the past, it still took me well ~2 hours to finish! I really like the extra logic it offers compared to 2 colors. I've yet to see one with 4 :)

Peacherwu. No, lines can have different totals. They're essentailly region sum lines but use the coloured yin-yang regions rather than the boxes.
Seriously clever setting and very tough. Very much deserving of the perfect rating :)

So the equal sums of different lines must also be the same?

I have a real love of these yin-yang+ style constraints! This was an excellent puzzle.
I can't always spot a setter's "fingerprint" so to say, but I do feel like you have a distinct style that I really enjoy Icy Fruit (even though I can't solve a solid third of your puzzles).

Yeah, I'd just commented literally as the fix came in (and swiftly deleted). Hopefully the fix doesn't alter the difficulty too much, as that was a great ruleset leading to a really fun and hard solve (deadly pattern aside).
