COUPDOKU
Place a digit from 1-8 in some cells such that they each appear exactly once in every row and column. The digits 1-8 *originally* appeared exactly once in every box, but some have broken through a wall and moved to an adjacent cell, leaving behind an empty cell with a grey O. Four of these break-ins are shown on the grid, but you'll need to locate (and draw in) the rest of them yourself.
XV
Xs indicate a sum of 10, and Vs a sum of 5. Empty cells have value 0 for this rule.

Here is an example of one valid solution for a 6x6 coupdoku.
Solution code: Row 9 (8 digits)

Great puzzle - messed with my scanning till I got it thought through and solved nicely once I'd worked out what was going on.

What a fun puzzle with an original ruleset ! Every deduction was smooth (except when I started to pencilmark nines !)

Very cool idea. A lot easier than it looks.
