The Three Guards
(Published on 29. January 2024, 18:39 by juggler)
Normal sudoku rules apply.
PARTIAL KROPKI
White dots indicate adjacent digits. Black dots indicate digits in a 2:1 ratio. Not all dots are given.
DOOR GUARDS
Each cage is a scroll held by a Guard. A row of digits XYZ on a scroll states that 'Row X Column Y contains the digit Z.' Two Guards always tell the truth, and one Guard always lies (even about Kropki dots!)
To be clear: *every* XYZ clue and Kropki dot in the cage representing the lying guard's scroll makes a false statement.
Solution code: Row 1

Can digits repeat in cages if otherwise allowed by the other rules?
jugger: yes they can.

Any liar puzzle that approaches being approachable is a remarkable feat of setting - amazing work on this.

Really loved it. 4 stars might be too high for difficulty. More like a 3.
