The first round of this year's Sudoku Grand Prix got me thinking about interesting ways to use Ascending Starters clues.
Normal sudoku rules apply.
X-Sums: A clue outside the grid specifies the sum of the first X digits from the position of the clue, where X is the first digit encountered.
Ascending Starters: A clue outside the grid specifies the sum of the first run of ascending digits from the position of the clue (i.e. the sum from the first digit encountered until digits are no longer ascending).
Solution code: Row 5 + Column 8 (18 digits)
