Special thanks to
sirxemic, the maker of
sudokumaker.app, for his help in constructing this puzzle, as well as to
Marty Sears
for getting it featured in a Cracking the Cryptic
video.
****************************
Fill the grid with the numbers 1-7 such that no number repeats in a row or column.
The grid is *completely* covered by thermometer lines. You cannot see them, because they are invisible. Nevertheless, numbers increase along thermometers starting from the bulb end.
Thermometer lines move orthogonally and diagonally, and do not cross themselves or other thermometers, except at the white diamonds, where they must cross themselves or another thermometer. Thermometers do not pass through X's.
Thermometer bulbs do not touch each other, even diagonally.
All thermometers have the same length.
Solution code: Row 2

It's criminal that only 5 people have solved this. This is an absolute masterpiece... the way it unfolds is jaw-dropping.
Brilliant choice of rules to have made this possible. I love the white diamond crossing point clues... it all feels so fresh and original.
It remained fun and challenging and surprising right up until the very end. Two stunning moments stood out and made me exclaim out loud!

I might be a bit biased since I assisted you with the custom constraint in Sudoku Maker, but that was a very fun puzzle.
