PIKOTARO - PPAP (cipher + numbered rooms sudoku)
(Published on 8. January 2024, 13:22 by Aspartagcus)
I listened to this old classic the other day with my kids and noticed the large amount of repeating letters in the title and decided that I needed to try to set a puzzle themed on it.
Happy with that I managed to get a working, but it still irks a bit that the last E clue didn't fit with the puzzle. Can't have everything in life, I suppose. :)
RULES:
- Standard 6x6 sudoku rules apply.
- Numbered rooms: Clues outside the grid indicate the digit in the Nth cell in the corresponding direction, where N is the digit placed in the first cell in that direction. Small letters outside the grid are just for aesthetics.
- Cipher: Each letter corresponds to a unique digit. If a letter is in the grid, its corresponding digit goes in that cell.
