A new rule set for the new year 2024.
Normal Sudoku rules apply, place the digits 1-9 in each row, column, and box.
Dutch-Thermos: Digits along the thermos exist in two distinct sets which alternate positions along the line, both sets increase in value from the bulb end but are independent from each other regarding their increasing values, also all digits on the line must have a difference of at least four between each consecutive digit regardless of which set they belong to.

I normally struggle with Dutch whispers, but I found this one quite easy funnily enough due to the thermos restraint and completed in 20 mins. Normally I always think puzzles are about 1 star harder than rated on here but I'm surprised this got 2 starts :0)

Quite an interesting combination that makes one think. To understand the rules, I just tried and example in the top line. Then I said okay let's try the bottom line. I just kept going and it kept solving. So I suppose I blindly bifurcated from the start! Great puzzle, thanks!
~Thank you for trying it and I am glad you enjoyed it. What I found cool about this idea that made me want to share is that a given digit is constrained by up to 4 other cells on the line as oppose to just 2.

Interesting try, though I’m not a fan of the combo line
