Zipper Zipper
(Published on 20. December 2023, 03:32 by antiknight)
Lately, I've been enjoying solving and setting Zipper line puzzles. I had an idea of a break-in that needs Doublers to work. I think this is the first puzzle that combines Doublers and Zipper lines , so I'd appreciate any feedback on the break-in and the puzzle in general.
Rules:
1) Normal Sudoku rules apply:
Place the digits 1-9 into each cell of the grid. None of the rows, columns or boldly outlined 3x3 boxes contain repeated digits.
2)Standard Zipper lines rules apply:
Digits an equal distance from the center of a lavender 'Zipper Line' sum to the digit in the middle of that line.
3)Standard Kropki rules apply:
Digits on a white dot are consecutive. Not all dots are given.
4) Doublers Rules apply:
Nine cells in the grid (one per row, column, and box) are Doublers, which count as double their value on Zipper lines. Each digit appears in exactly one Doubler. Doublers aren't necessarily on Zipper lines. For example ; If R4C6 is a Doubler and a 4 then R3C6+R4C7 = 8
