“Third Advent Sunday“
And it’s Sunday again! Nala is very ready to go on our next tour. Will it have a lake again? Nala can’t wait to go and explore!
Normal Sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1-9 in every row, column and box exactly once each.
Digits in a dashed cage must sum to the value in the top left corner (if given) of the cage. Digits may not repeat within their own cage.
Lake Tour Path: Help Nala find the path around the lake by following these rules: The path must be orthogonally connected and visit all cells of all cages. The path forms a loop (ie it has no start or end points). The path can touch itself diagonally, however it is not allowed to touch orthogonally (ie no cell on the path can share edges with more than two other cells on the path). Any set of three sequential cells along path must contain a low digit (123), a middle digit (456), and a high digit (789).
Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive. Digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio. Not all possible dots are given. (There is no negative constraint.)
Additionally the grid is partially covered in fog. Placing correct digits will clear the fog from surrounding cells, possibly revealing more clues.

I love your puzzles but "the path must visit every cell...cannot touch itself orthogonally" I don't get the set of rules.
Sandra here! It’s not every cell - it’s every cell that part of a cage. Hope that helps :)

Does "path around the lake" mean that the path cannot enter cells with colored (lakes)?
Sandra here! No, I did not intend to „hide a rule“ with that sentence :) Nala is a retriever and doesn’t mind a wet toe or quick swim, so anything is possible!

That was quite a lot of fun! I ended up getting stuck part way through after being pretty smooth sailing for a while, but I ended up finding a way through. Thanks for the puzzle!

Danke für die tolle Adventszeit, die ihr beide uns beschert! Den heutigen Spaziergang fand ich überraschend einfach, aber umso mehr Spaß hats gemacht :)

jedes Mal, wenn ich auf den Link gehe, komme ich zum Rätsel vom vergangenen Sonntag... Kann das sein, dass das Rätsel falsch hinterlegt ist, oder spinnt mein Computer?
