Be Careful What You Squish For

Had a go at setting a Squishdoku after seeing how there's a lot of interesting geometry to be discovered with them. Hope you enjoy :)

Rules:

  • Squishdoku - Place digits from 1-9 in every cell, so that no digit repeats in a row, column, or 3x3 region. The dashed lines indicate the boundaries of regions, and cells on the lines are simultaneously part of the regions on both sides of the line.
  • Digits in a cage cannot repeat and sum to the number in the top left corner of the cage.
  • Digits along a renban line form a non-repeating set of consecutive digits, in any order

Imposter prompt 2025 research has kicked my ass. Very enjoyable puzzle which took me a solid 3 hours.

Fun little puzzle. Pretty easy, but with some nice logic.

What a beautiful puzzle! Fiddly and confusing, but beautiful!

A beautiful rotationally symmetric grid, so will the solution also be symmetric? Call your psychic.
Lizzy01 is right. Not all the boxes are 3x3. Nevertheless, a very nice puzzle.

Those regions do not look like 3x3 to me, even with the squishy rules!
