Normal sudoku rules apply.
Oil and Water: Each cage is either full of "oil" (even digits), full of "water" (odd digits), or a mix of both. In all cases, each "row" within a cage is of just one type (oil or water). Oil floats on water, so even digits will always be in rows above odd digits in mixed cages. Two grey 'oil' cells are given.
Hotel: Each cage makes up one floor of the hotel, which is indicated by its cage sum. Floor numbers may not repeat and must begin at Ground Level (1). The hotel floors must ascend sequentially -- except for floor 13, which is omitted.
Digits in cages may not repeat.

I love oil/water puzzles, this had a very different approach to other ones I've done which was interesting and challenging, but i really enjoyed how you had to approach it differently to others.
very nice
Grok: thanks vorash :D definitely an unorthodox one but glad you still enjoyed it

Nice little puzzle. A couple of "A-ha" moments that really helped floor-identification along :)

THANK YOU! That made a lot of sense, I was stuck at the end, when I already had every box figured out and I was just filling in. The grey cells helped lol. Thanks for the setting!
