Rules:
- Sudoku. Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- Sharpermind. Every set of clues consists of a pill (containing a guessed 4-digit number) and its adjacent cage. Within cages, a black dot indicates that one of the guessed digits in the pill is correctly placed, and a white dot indicates that a guessed digit in the pill appears in the secret code, but not in that position. The order of the dots is irrelevant and does not necessarily reflect the order of the digits in the corresponding pill.
- Sharper Kropki Dots. Digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio, and digits separated by a white dot are consecutive. In this puzzle, the digits 1 and 9 are considered to be consecutive. Within cages, all possible black and white Kropki dots have been given.
- Secret code. When the Sudoku puzzle is solved, deduce the unique secret code from the given clues. Yes, the code is unique and should be deduced logically.

I really struggled with this one, until I went back and read the rules again. So important, those little things, like 1 and 9 are consecutive ;-)
After lodging that firmly in my brain, it was a very smooth solve.

Thank you for this nice puzzle, Arlo Lipof! Playing Mastermind without being allowed to repeat a position is quite a challenge. :)
I definitely struggled with getting the secret code.

There is most likely more than 1 solution to this puzzle. I 'solved' it, but didn't get the right answer.
A: You may have overlooked one of the constraints (e.g. the negative constraint in cages), but I can assure you there is only one valid solution to this puzzle.
