  • Normal sudoku rules apply.
  • Global Entropy: Every 2x2 square of cells must contain a low digit (1,2,3), middle digit (4,5,6) and high digit (7,8,9).
  • Double Arrows: The sum of the digits on the line must equal the sum of the digits in its end circles.
  • Parity Quads: The digits that surround a blue dot must be either all odd or all even. The digits that surround an orange dot must be either all prime or all composite. (1 is neither prime nor composite)

A little baffled by this one. Right near the start, I see two huge solution paths unfolding before me, and neither of them seem to collapse easily. Bifurcating either let me fill in half the puzzle with relative ease, and the contradiction that eventually turned up in box 4 left me none the wiser as to where the intended solution path should be

Finally cracked it but I do feel a little like I only made 1 deduction ^_^

Bifurcation is not needed. My solve path was quite similar to the other test solves I watched, which no guessing occurred. I'm not sure why you started just filling in the grid without using the clues/constraints so I guess that leaves me a little baffled. ;)

Neat interactions :)

Appreciate the solve, the parity quads did some interesting things here.. might have to investigate them further!
