Factor Finesse

(Published on 5. December 2023, 11:50 by Mad-Tyas)

I published a puzzle with this ruleset a little over a year ago. I still find it fascinating that it is even possible to construct a logically solvable puzzle with this restriction, which at first glance seems not very restrictive.

Rules:

Sudoku: Fill every row, column and marked 3x3 box with the digits 1-9.

Factor Finesse Killer: In cages marked with a black dashed line digits must not repeat. Each cage must contain digits whose multiplication gives the sum of all digits in that cage. Here are some examples for valid cages:
246: The Sum is 12 and 2*6 = 12
2379: The Sum is 21 and 3*7 = 21
123459: The Sum is 24 and 2*3*4 = 24

Have fun solving!

Fun! I had to make myself a little cheat sheet of possibilities that I kept referring to, tho, I hope the Bifurcation Police don't mind
