Gridlock
(Published on 4. December 2023, 08:03 by ark29)
Standard Sudoku rules apply (Place the digits 1-9 in every row, column, and 3x3 box)
Standard little killer rules apply (Numbers outside the grid give you the sum of all digits in the indicated diagonal)
Standard killer cage rules apply (Numbers inside the cage sum to the number in the top left corner)
Thermo rules apply (Numbers strictly increase from the bulb to the tip)
Standard disjoint rules apply (Cells that appear in the same relative position in their 3x3 box must not contain the same number)

I estimate difficulty at 3 stars.
Solution code: Row 9 and column 9.

Can someone clarify the "standard disjoint rule"? I don't understand it. Thank you.

@BKKGarrett For instance, if there is a 1 in the top left corner of a box, say box 1 (R1C1). Then 1 cannot exist in the top left corner of any other box.

felt more like a 2 star difficulty. Nice setting, thanks for that.

Really fun, smooth solve! Easier than a 3* though.
