Normal Japanese sums rules apply. Colors used in this puzzle are beige, brown, dark brown, red and grey/black.
The squares outside the grid indicate the order of runs of contiguous cells found in that row or column that must be shaded the color of the clue. The number in the clue, if given, indicates the sum of the cells in the run. There must be at least one unshaded cell between runs of the same color, though there is no need between runs of differing colors. All runs are given.
White snow dots separate consecutive digits.

Lovely! My third ever four star difficulty solve as well! I found the individual steps quite straight forward, but the 6 by 6 doubled combined with the JSS logic made me tread very carefully in order to avoid mistakes, which I found to be the most challenging aspect of the sudoku

If you want to change the color of the pallet, you can hold down the color to change and pick a new color!
