Normal Sudoku rules apply.
5's live in Dutch Flats
All 5's in the grid must strictly have EITHER; a '1' directly above it AND/OR a '9' directly below it. It may have both, but it doesn't need both.
Examples provided below on an empty grid.
Kropki Dots
Cells seperated by white dots are consecutive in value.
Cells seperated by black dots have values in 2:1 ratio.
No negative constraint.
Previous puzzles in this series:
Dutch Flat Mates 1: Classic
Dutch Flat Mates 2: Thermometers
Dutch Flat Mates 3: German Whispers
Dutch Flat Mates 4: Region Sum Lines
Dutch Flat Mates 5: Sandwich Sums
Dutch Flat Mates 6: Little Killer
Dutch Flat Mates 7: Kropki
Dutch Flat Mates 8: Zipper Lines (6 Dec)
Next week will be the last puzzle in 2023 for this particular series.
The Kropki version is arguably one of the easiest and may even drop to 1 star after review.
Next weeks Zipper Lines version is already made, and in my opinion is a very strong puzzle to end on, although Zippers seem to get a lot less play time than they should - so please give it a chance.
Thanks for playing the puzzles in this series, and maybe it will be back in the new year. I welcome suggestions for future constraints, ideally a single constraint to accompany the Dutch Flats rule.
Solution code: Column 6 from top to bottom (9 digits)

I really enjoyed solving this. Gave me a challenge as a beginner but was not hard to solve, though the use of logic in the end really surprised me!

Nice one! I thought i had entered a deadly pattern in the end but then the two white dots in row 9 solved it. Beautifully placed. Keep it going :)

I don't see Little Killers. Error in the description or in the puzzle?
