Ice Cave

For this week I decided to share one of my hybrid puzzle experiments which combines some of my favourite types of logic. Essentially it's a fusion of Cave and Icelom. I hope you'll enjoy!

Rules

  • Shade some cells so that all shaded cells are connected orthogonally by other shaded cells to the edge of the grid, and the remaining unshaded cells form one orthogonally connected area.

  • If a clue is unshaded, it represents the total number of unshaded cells that can be seen in a straight line vertically or horizontally, including itself.

  • Draw a path through the centers of some cells, entering and exiting the grid at the marked arrows. The path must visit all shaded cells, may not turn on unshaded cells, and may cross itself only on unshaded cells.

  • The path must visit the numbers 1 to 11 once each in ascending order.

Puzzle links

Solution code: The number of turns of the path in each row, from top to bottom. Then the length of the longest contiguous stretch of shaded cells in each row, from top to bottom.

Enjoyed this a lot ! Requires a bit of thinking about the ruleset before getting started, then it's a super nice experiment of all sorts or connectivity logic. Thanks :)

That looks good! I suggest to improve the German version: Instead of "darf nicht schattierte Zellen nicht einschalten" you better write "darf auf nicht schattierten Zellen nicht abbiegen".
