Fun little puzzle. Neat ruleset with some nice deductions. Not too difficulty either.

I watched Simon Anthony solve this puzzle on Cracking the Cryptic about three months ago and this puzzle inspired me to try to set a sudoku. The beautiful ways the yin Yang constraint affects neighboring digits in Laake’s Strange Zebra made me want to make something similar. Yesterday Mark Goodliffe solved my debut puzzle “One of These Things. . . “ on CTC. Thank you Laake.

I should really read the rules more carefully. Stopped reading after the word "german whisper" and missed the minimum length of 2 cells rule. Only after half an hour of zero progress and utter confusion I reread and realized.
Very smooth and enjoyable afterwards!

Initially it went very smooth with the coloring, but I reached a point where I was completely stuck. One path look very promising with very nice logic, and the other one didn't look that nice, but I was never able to prove that the second path had a problem. After a lot of trying I just gave up and decided to go with the "nice" path, which turn out to be the correct one. The logic afterwards was super nice and smooth.

A stellar puzzle with lots of small wonderful deductions. The first ying-yang I've solved and oh boy did I choose a great one to start with!

Very nice. Reminds me a lot of one that Simon on CtC once solved.
