Index Battle Sudoku

I'm working on a Lighthouse Hashikabe, but the idea for this puzzle suddenly occurred to me, and it wouldn't leave my head until I created it. That's how quite a few of my puzzles seem to happen.
RULES:- Star Battle Sudoku: Every row, column and 3x3 box must contain the digits 1 to 7 once each, as well as two stars. Stars cannot touch other stars, orthogonally or diagonally.
- Indexing Columns: Digits placed in columns 1 through 7 give the position of the digits 1 through 7 (respectively) in their respective rows. For instance, if the digit in row 2, column 3 is a 5, then the digit in row 2, column 5 must be a 3 (but if a star is in row 2, column 3, then the 3 may be placed anywhere in that row).
- Renban: each pink line must contain a set of nonrepeating consecutive digits in any order (and cannot contain stars).
Solution code: Row 8, with asterisks ("*") for the stars.
