Dense Skyscrapers
(Published on 8. November 2023, 21:18 by Kitty Trouble)
- Normal sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1-9, once each, into every row, column, and box.
- Each killer cage represents a skyscraper with a height equal to its sum. Clues outside the grid indicate how many skyscrapers it can see from that direction. For example, if there are 5 killer cages in a row or column, and their sums are 4, 10, 10, 13, and 5, leading away from a skyscraper clue, the skyscraper clue's value would be 3.
- The diagonal clue outside the grid counts the number of skyscrapers it can see along the indicated diagonal, rather than along its column.
- Adjacent digits along a thermometer increase from the bulb end.

Very interesting puzzle. Pretty impressive how it ends up being forced from so few clues.
