This is probably the most approachable Zipper Lines puzzle I have published so far (even compared to the 6x6) and is meant as an introduction-puzzle to the ruleset. As always, thanks Jaze for the constraint idea and thanks to the testers on the CtC-fan discord for solving/commenting. Hope you enjoy!

Here is a 4 by 4 example from Jaze (left) and it's solution (right). Notice how the ends of each line sum to the digit in the center of the line. Additionally, the long line also contains two more sums 4=1+3=1+3=2+2. You can play the example here.

My first time doing a zipper line. This puzzle had many wow moments as I began to understand some of the restrictions of placing certain numbers in the line. A lovely puzzle.

I think this is honestly the best of the bunch so far (in terms of beginner level difficulty). It's not an easy thing to set a non-trivial 1-star difficulty puzzle and this one flows so, so beautifully.

Even more approachable when you’ve been looking at zipper logic nonstop for days. Haha. Great puzzle.

This was marvelous! but took me almost an hour for some reason. The break-in is very well hidden. Rated 2 stars for difficulty.

Thanks sujoyku! I totally see how some of my earlier zipper puzzles can be too much for a first contact with the ruleset. After I introduced this constraint in "A Totally Balanced Approach", I wanted to create more introduction-level zipper puzzles but always got sidetracked by more complex ideas offered by those lines. Really glad to hear that this was a comfortable and flowy solve for you!

Thank you for this nice puzzle, gdc! I have solved a few zipper line puzzles before this one, but did not feel very confident with them. Therefore, this puzzle was a great opportunity to get more familiar and comfortable with this variant. The solve felt approachable and had a nice flow to it. Thank you for setting and sharing!
