Waltz and Tango

Rules:
  • Normal sudoku rules apply.
  • Digits in cages must multiply!! to the number in the top left corner.
  • Inequality signs point to a factor of the number at the open end.
  • In every row, column, and 3x3 box, there is one digit that acts as an exponent. Each digit (1-9) appears as an exponent exactly once.
  • Exponents in cages are applied to all orthogonally adjacent digits in the cage.
  • Exponents outside of cages act as normal digits valued 1-9.
  • Cages must be totalled following order of operations (exponents then multiplication)

Hello erml,
You are missing something when looking at the 9 cage.
Spoiler!

There is more than one way to multiply to 9.

Spoiler alert!

9 cage: 3^2*1
100 cage: 5^2*4

No other options. Breaks the rule of a digit being exponet only once.
What am I missing?

Unable to find a way to satisfy the 9 and the 100 cage without using the 2 twice as an exponent...

Nice puzzle, a 2 star for me because after locating the key spots, it crumbles quite quickly
