Numbered Corridors 4 (Modular Lines, Numbered Sums)

(Published on 26. October 2023, 15:00 by Crusader175)

Expanding the series to include Numbered Sums. Exploring idea where Numbered Rooms/Sums clue forms a different type of lines constraint.

Rules:

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Modular Lines: Any set of three sequential cells along a modular line must contain one digit from (1,4,7), (2,5,8), and (3,6,9). A modular line of length 2 may not contain two digits from the same residue set.

Numbered Sums: Clues outside the grid shows the sum of N and the digit in the Nth cell in the corresponding direction, where N is the digit placed in the first cell in that direction.

Every Numbered Sums clue forms a Modular Lines starting from the N to Nth cell. (Note: N=1 is possible)

I really enjoyed that. The sums clues forming modular lines worked well for producing interesting logic.
