Intro
This is a puzzle that I have worked on for a long time. It is definitely difficult, so only attempt it if you enjoy a serious challenge!
Rules
Fill the grid with nine non-overlapping donuts (3x3 regions with no middle cell), such that each donut contains 8 of the digits 1-9 once each and no two donuts contain the same digits.
The donuts must be flavoured as follows:
Cells outside donuts do not contain digits and digits must not repeat in any row or column. Finally, digits in cages must not repeat and must sum to the cage totals.
Please leave comments if you complete this puzzle.
Solution code: All of the digits in row 2.

i dont understand the image… is this a clue or what?
Die Hard: The image is illustrating what the donuts look like (ie: 3x3 areas with no middle cell). It is recommended you use colours to fill in the donuts as you locate them.

Hard, but not very hard. I made a thinking mistake halfway through and got stuck, so it took me awhile. Lot of colouring ;-).
Very nice and rewarding to battle for the determination of all the cells!
