Circles: A number in a circle gives how many times that number appears in circles.
X-Sums: A clue outside the grid gives the sum of the first X digits from that direction where X is the digit next to the clue.

Neat puzzle! Not too difficult, and some nice logic.
(Perhaps a bit more actual sudoku than I'm used to, lol)

My very first puzzle with sort of 'circles counting' constraint and I loved every part of it! Very well telegraphed solve path with such a great balance between different types of logic :)

Very lovely puzzle! Especially enjoyed the final deduction regarding which digit(s) didn't go on the circles.

Thank you for this great puzzle, Oddlyeven, and congratulations on the CTC feature! Combining the counting circles with X-sums was a very cool idea.

Beautiful concept and well constructed fun solve. I can only manage a maximum of one of these attributes, so I commend you on a wonderful puzzle :)

Absolute headscratcher at the start, and then I fumbled one of the midway deductions so I actually restarted the puzzle twice. But once it clicks it flows incredibly smoothly. Clean andl very original circle puzzle!

A very ripe idea, ready for the plucking... but then the execution was very carefully thought out. Kudos for this enjoyable lil' head-scratcher!

Hey Oddlyeven, this was a lovely and pure use of the circle rule. And a very intentionally cheeky number of circles, love it :D
Enjoyed that little early plot twist, and a nice smooth flow from that point onwards.

I was exploring some ideas using outside circles a couple of days ago, and I have to say that you've executed this idea nicely! Cool puzzle but I think it's 2*

The AHA! moment in the break-in was so nice that my head played it in Alan Partridge's voice
