Great puzzle! Took me quite a while since I’m still inexperienced, and I thought the rules were incomplete, but after much thought, I understood that the rules were fine and I just need more elbow grease. I’ve been following the radical puzzle thread between Jobo and rockratzero, and they’ve been great fun!

Is it even solvable without assuming that the bulb must be on one of the thermometer’s endpoints?
__
It is, the thermometer can be avoided altogether, but it makes for a much nicer solve path. Thanks for playing!

Aesthetically and logically, this puzzle is fantastic. The elegance is sunning. A real improvement on the original square roots idea.

This one was a little bit tough for me, but very enjoyable once I realized a few "tricks" to the possible locations for the squares. Thanks

Well done, Solved647, thanks for playing!

Thank you for this gem of a puzzle, Jobo! I found it quite tricky, but whenever I got the next step it felt so forcing that I wondered why I did not see it immediately. :)
The concept of using all these different square roots each with its own line type is very creative and elegant. Thank you for setting and sharing!

Thank you for the kind words, sujoyku!

I had the privilege (and I mean privilege) of testing this and I immediately knew this was something special. Challenging without being oppressive; clean, straightforward logic; elegant layout; and a beautiful, innovative idea. Well worth anyone's time, new and experienced solvers alike.

Remarkable that this puzzle exists with this clean design and no additional clues. And it also has a nice solve path :-)
