Here is a fun variant, combining a loop with the new genre invented some time ago by glum_hippo. Pretty approachable in my opinion and based on testing feedback. Enjoy !
The puzzle :
Rules :
- Meidjuluk : Divide the grid into 18 regions, one of each size 1 to 18. A region may not contain repeated numbers, and it may only contain factors of its size (e.g. a region of size 6 may contain any combination of 1,2,3, and 6).
- Loop : Draw a loop of orthogonally connected cells through the center of some cells, so that each region is visited exactly once by the loop. The loop must visit the regions following their size order, i.e. 1->2->3...17->18->1. For each region, the number of cells visited by the loop is given by the biggest of the clues contained in the region (e.g. if a region of size 10 contains 1,2 and 5, the loop takes 5 cells in that region). The loop has to visit at least one clued cell in each region.
Example puzzle :
Solution code: For column 3 and column 15 (second from the right), the number of cells between region borders, from top to bottom. Ignore blackened cells. (For columns 1 and 5 of the example, the solution code would be 1321221.)

Gorgeous and weird as hell. Loved every bit of the logic! Very unique take on both meidjuluk specifically and regional loop puzzles as a whole. Thank you so much!

@Lizzy01 : Thanks ! I tried this puzzle a couple days ago, and failed twice because I ended up with too many 1s... Not sure what went wrong, but I'm gonna try again !

Very nice! My first solve of a Meidjuluk puzzle, therefore I found it quite hard. The deductions were very satisfying. Thank you.

Very fun puzzle, thanks! You need a few clever observations to get started but it's a very smooth solve from there.
