Warm Up

(Published on 20. October 2023, 03:04 by CaptZebraCakes)

Before you attempt that brain-busting 5-star grid, warm up with this puzzle.

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Digits along a thermometer must increase starting at the bulb.

Cells separated by a black dot contain digits in a 1:2 ratio. Not all dots are given.

Also had to restart a couple times because of unknown errors. Really nice puzzle!

Wow! Took me a couple of tries because I messed up some thermometer logic here and there, but the interplay between the thermometers and Kropki dots is just so beautiful.

I can`t describe the joy I`m feeling now that I resolved this puzzle. Yesterday this puzzle seemed impossible to solve. But now, even if it took me almost 52 minutes to solve, I was totally captivated. 100% approval in my opinion. Don`t give up! Try again tomorrow.

This was a fun puzzle. My browser says it took me 8 minutes and 34 seconds to complete. A well spent 8:34 if I do say so myself. Thanks!

Thank you for this nice puzzle, CaptZebraCakes! The positioning of the Kropki dots on the thermos allowed a swift break-in and a fun solve. The whole puzzle had a nice flow. Thank you for setting and sharing!
