Mystery Box

(Published on 18. October 2023, 11:57 by Jolly Rogers)

RULES:

  • Normal Sudoku rules apply.
  • Digits in a cage cannot repeat and must sum to the total (if given).
  • Each digit in a cage indicates exactly how many times that digit appears across all cages in the grid. E.g if there's a 3 in a cage, it means there are three 3's in cages.
  • Digits joined by a white dot must be consecutive. Not all possible dots are given.

From feedback the difficulty is somewhere between 4 and 5 stars, I hope you enjoy!

Very nice! Cages work very well with the circles constraint. I gave it an average difficulty. Thank you

What a cool puzzle; really love the way you used the circle constraint here. Personally didn't find it incredibly difficult.

This is by far the nicest implementation of the circles-rule (albeit with cages instead of circles) that I've seen. Proper well cool!
