Yin-Yang Thermos
Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply. Shade some cells such that all shaded cells are orthogonally connected, and all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected, and no 2x2 area may be fully shaded or unshaded. Each cell on row 9 tells how many shaded cells are in that column. Furthermore, in each column the shaded digits in that column, must increase in value, going from either top to bottom or bottom to top. Cells separated by a red dot sum up to 9. A digit on a circle has its value increased by 9.
Solution code: Row 1 followed by row 3 only unshaded cells.

Brilliant puzzle! Featured on CTC youtube on 2023.11.03. I won't mention the video title because it's a little bit of a spoiler :)

Really cool puzzle! Crazy how all those neat tricks happen in a puzzle this minimally clued :)

One of the weirder 'miracle' puzzles for me here with a very fine placement of the given clues.
I was quite baffled in the middle of this (probably since it’s so unusual seeing the yin yang tricks being done in this one) and I did need one or two occasions to yield the needed results for the main breakthrough. Well done setting this one!

This a fantastic puzzle and a great concept. Astonishing miraculous quality that the grid can be shaded and filled with digits with only 7 clues on the starting grid.
I have to admit I found this very difficult in the first half, to get my head round the logic of where certain digits could or couldn't go on the bottom row, and implications for the yin yang shading. But once I got past that hurdle it all flowed very nicely, and I particularly enjoyed the shading part of the puzzle, and how the thermos' needs helped to fix the yin yang patters in the 2nd half.

Changed a bit the version. Maybe is slightly hard but the difficulty should be 4 stars still.

Fantastic puzzle! An interesting premise (though it took a while to fully understand the rules), with just enough well-placed clues to make everything fall in place. Well constructed!
