Japanese Sums #5: Disposition

(Published on 10. October 2023, 11:55 by Myxo)

Another entry in my Japanese Sums series. This puzzle could be a bit trickier, since the sums are not given in the correct order. Enjoy!

Rules:

Shade some cells of the grid and fill all unshaded cells with digits from 1-9, such that no digit repeats in any row or column.

Clues outside the grid indicate the sums of contiguous segments of unshaded cells in that row or column. There must be at least one shaded cell seperating two segments.

In each row or column, all such sums are given, but not necessarily in the correct order. Instead they have been sorted from lowest to highest.

A * may stand for any positive integer.
