What a Narcissist

(Published on 8. October 2023, 20:53 by gdc)

I created this as a potential new user image for my LMD profile. According to the testers on the CtC discord (thanks everyone!), it's not easy as it looks but still fairly straightforward. Enjoy!

  • Normal (6 by 6) sudoku rules apply
  • Kropki: Digits joined by a white dot are consecutive. Digits joined by a black ot are in a 1:2 ratio. Not all dots are given.
  • Modular lines: Every set of three sequential digits along a line must contain one digit from {1,4}, one digit from {2,5} and one digit from {3,6}.

I broke this puzzle many times before finally solving it. After my third attempt I realized I was making an invalid assumption. Once I fixed that, it went together nicely. Thanks for setting and sharing. Not nearly as hard a puzzle as I made it for myself.
