Normal sudoku rules apply. Purple renban lines contain a set of consecutive digits (not necessarily in order). Any two digits on a yellow nabner line must have a difference of at least 2. Any three sequential cells on a peach entropic line must contain a low (123), medium (456), and high digit (789). Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive.

Edit: This puzzle relies on a tricky deduction that is very easy to miss! If you find that the puzzle grinds to a halt, I have uploaded a second version with a hint to get it running smoothly again.

Pretty nice puzzle, although didn't expect the slow-down after a relatively straightforward start. Absolutely solid logic anyways!

Would love to know what the easier step would be took me ages to solve, but nice construction nonetheless

That is NOT a 2-star puzzle, at least not for the amateur I am. I got bogged down hard in the middle, thinking "surely with the next digit I get it will collapse" and I was wrong for a long time. BUT ... I found the challenge riveting and gave it "very nice" on the design/beauty rating. Lots of fun!

jsmirob: Sorry to have misled you! There is a way to solve the puzzle that makes it fairly easy, but in hindsight it may be harder to spot than I thought. I will increase the difficulty rating. In any case, thank you for your lovely comment. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

BT: No, not misleading, ha ha - we all come from different skill levels. I'm sure some will blast through it and call it easy; I happen to have found myself stuck in a mire of trying out this line, trying out that line, for quite some time before it finally started breaking down. How many stars to give a puzzle is always a question - the important thing to me is that I had fun.

Beautiful grid, very cool solve, trickier than I thought it was going to be.
