Spent 30 minutes being very confused as to why it was so difficult and not solving. Realized I put the 8 length whispers in a slightly incorrect order for pencilmarks.
Fixed that, solved in 10 minutes. Great puzzle!

If you don't know how to get started.
Try to figure out where the 5s could go.
And then where the 6s and 4s can go.

Loved it.
took me way too long to break through the polarities, I'm out of practice...
@chain.reader Thank for playing and the comments. -Will Power

Very easy, when you don't keep forgetting the anti knight constraint, haha

Can someone please explain what I am missing. I am relatively comfortable with German whisper lines. I have gotten to the point where I have most of the 5's, including one in the killer cage. I just done know how to resolve the rest of box 1. I know the killer must be 5,6,7 or 4,5,9, but am struggling to understand how to get further than that.
@Lundo- Box 1 should be pencil marked (4679), (5), (4679), (1234), (8), (1234), (46), (19), (37). The fact that 8 must be in the center of box 1 is important. Peace to you. -Will power

Boy, I'm feeling about as stupid as I ever have. Supposedly this is a 'very easy' puzzle and everyone in the comments is talking about how they blew through it as soon as they found the break-in. For me this was an incredible slog. I guess whatever the break-in was, I missed it and did it the hard way?
Will, (or anyone) any chance you could make an English-language video with the expected solve path? There's one in the comments but it's in Chinese.
@dstorrs There is no need to feel discouraged about your progress on any puzzle. We all run into roadblocks when there is something we haven't seen before in a puzzle. Usually, when someone finds a puzzle far more difficult than everyone else, it is because they have not remembered one, or more of the rules. #1: In this case, I'll ask if you are completely comfortable with German Whispers lines (5 apart from neighbors). If so, you should immediately have five 5's in the grid, plus pencil marks for all else in rows 3 and 4. Then, complete pencil marking all of box 1. You should find that row 2 in box 1 must be low number, 8, low number. #2: I'll ask if you have completed any other puzzle with an anti-knight rule. If not, read about it or find a "Cracking the Cryptic" video that explains it in the beginning. The anti-knight rule should allow you to work from the 8 you have placed. Happy solving. -Will Power
@dstorrs There is the possibility that Sudoku Sleuth will publish his solve of this puzzle, in English, on his YouTube channel. He tends to solve puzzles rated above 90 % from Logic Masters Germany, so this puzzle has a chance to make it on his To Do list. However, since all solvers think differently, he may find a different break-in than I intended. Peace to you. -Will Power
@WillPower
I went back and redid the puzzle, and realized my mistake from last time: I had forgotten to pencilmark 1 into box 1. As soon as I did that, everything else fell into place. Doh! Thanks for the reply, and for the hints. --dstorrs

Just like @RNB i struggled for Like 15 minutes and then remembered i should probably look at the rules again. After that it really was some noble G.A.S.
Thanks for setting
