Entropic Waypoints
(Published on 3. October 2023, 14:19 by CaptZebraCakes)
My first attempt at a shading puzzle. I hope you enjoy!
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Shade some cells to create a single orthogonally connected path beginning at the circled 1 and ending at the circled 9. The path cannot overlap or touch itself, not even diagonally. No 2x2 region of the grid can be entirely unshaded. The path is entropic: each set of three consecutive digits along the path must contain a low (1, 2, 3), medium (4, 5, 6), and high (7, 8, 9) digit.
The circled cells contain the digits 1 through 9 exactly once. All circled cells appear on the path and increase in value along the direction of the path, from 1 to 9.

Thank you for this fun puzzle, CaptZebraCakes! Determining the path of the entropic snake has been very entertaining. I liked the Vs in the previous version, but this one felt a little more approachable. Hence you made the right call. Thank you for setting and sharing!
