This one should be simple (between 1 and 2 stars), but I love the logic put in there.
Rules
Place the digits from 1 to 6 in every row, column and irregular region of the sudoku.
Digits in cages must not repeat and must sum to the small corner total.
The three pink circles in the grid are vampires: they take EXACTLY one sip of blood from an orthogonally adjacent cell. For cages purposes, vampire cells count as increased by exactly one and the taken cells count as decreased by exactly one.
Solution code: Row 2, left to right, and column 3, top to bottom (12 digits, without spaces)

Added the word EXACTLY to better clarify the rules of the puzzle.

A very interessting puzzle. I agree, that it should be more obvious from the rules that vampire cells can deduct from only one cell.

A cute puzzle. Makes me think of baby vampires (or vampires in training?) >:-}

I think I would have liked this more if the wording was clearer about the fact that the vampire drains from only one of the adjacent cells.
