excellent! whenever i felt like i was stuck there was always some piece of very clever logic to be found. 5 stars!

Lots of clever logic - loved how the renban length allowed you to make inferences about what's in the fog.

My first 3* puzzle that I ever managed to solve and it was really, really fun to think about and figure out even at the moments I got stuck on something for longer than I'd like to. Thanks!

I found this really difficult but everytime I became unstuck it was something relatively simple, so that could have just been me! I'm not sure but I found it difficult. If it wasn't for the fow I might have given up but every time I did get unstuck revealing fog meant i was still on the right path.

Thank you for this very nice puzzle, gdc! For me, it was a 3/5 difficulty as well. Strangely, I struggled most with the ending when the fog had lifted almost everywhere. I might have overlooked something easier, but finally made use of a small case-by-case study which led to a cell having the same candidate in both variations. Anyhow, the arguments which help to find the continuation of the renbans are very original. The title fits perfectly. Thank you for setting and sharing!

I agree with 3 stars. I don't think it's too hard, but you do need to be prepared to just experiment a bit, which is telegraphed nicely in the title and description! I really enjoyed solving this one. Thanks gdc!

Great puzzle with a very nice flow and logic. I usualy struggle with 3* puzzles, especially renban but this one just fit in its place. I rated it 1* difficulty

@julien505, @Jreg: Thanks for the nice comments. Please feel free to uprate the difficulty on this one if you think it is more accurate. The click/solve ratio so far also suggests that it might be harder than I thought. And at the end of the day, it's always the perspective of the solvers that matters in that regard.

Idk if I'm just dumb or this puzzle needs to be rated way higher in terms of difficulty, but I spent almost 2 hours on this. Wouldn't change a thing, though. It's filled with crazy detailed deductions and I loved it all the way through.
