Solution guide

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Anti-knight: cells a knight's move apart (in chess) may not contain the same digit.

Circles: a digit in a circle shows how many circles contain that digit.

German Whispers: adjacent digits on a green line must differ by at least 5.

Inequality: the inequality sign points to the smaller of the two digits.

Renban: purple lines must contain a set of non-repeating, consecutive digits in any order.

X: digits separated by an X must sum to 10.

121 minutes. kinda unimpressive for an antiknight coloring puzzle.

Whilst it took days for me. Each time I found some logic it was beautiful! Right up until the very end when I had to bifurcate.

What’s nice is I think I know why each clue was there and what their function was.

Phenomenal.

Thank you so much for setting this beautiful puzzle

Lovely execution - had to know a few things about the ruleset to get going. No bifurcation required, but not easy even with what I knew. Enjoyed the challenge a lot.

Nice break-in but a bit of a struggle in the middle

Upgraded to 4* difficulty. I'm notoriously bad at judging the difficulty of my own puzzles! But I don't think it's any higher than 4*.

I missed a trick probably. Had to bifurcate a lot.

Sorry to hear that, but thanks for the feedback and congrats on the solve! I'll aim to put up a solution guide video in the next couple of days to explain the intended solution path. It doesn't require bifurcation but some of the steps are quite well hidden, so I'll upgrade the difficulty to 4* for now.
