Schrödinger 102: Non-Separable States

(Published on 21. September 2023, 23:00 by ViKingPrime)

PUZZLE:

RULES:

"Normal" Schrödinger rules apply.
(i.e. place the digits 0 through 9 once each in every row, column and box;
two of the digits will have to share a Schrödinger Cell;
each row, column and box contains exactly one Schrödinger Cell).

Arrow: Digits along an arrow must sum to the value in its originating circle.
Killer: Digits within a cage must sum to the number in the top-left corner.

MODIFIERS:

Schrödinger Certainty (Additive): Logical constraints are only concerned with the sum total of a cell.

INTRODUCTION:

A lot of people steered clear of the previous entry; I swear, it's truly not as daunting as it might appear at first glance! I know the more rules in a puzzle the more complicated it will appear at the start, so this one has been edited down to fighting trim.

If you find this one approachable, please do check out the other puzzles in the series as they should all be (relatively) the same difficulty.

Here are some puzzles from other setters using a similar constraint:

"The S-Cell Miracle" by Niverio

Very fun series so far. Would have preferred the mention of the Schrödingers additivity modifier in the rules, but apart from that was a fun solve.

@Jasura - Thank you so much <3 given the rule-set it is applicable by definition, however for consistency sake I will update the listing -- VKP

Really fun Schrödinger puzzle, my first try at solving one that isn't featured on CTC. It took me an hour and 3 restarts but I managed to do it.

A very fun and challenging (but quite doable) puzzle!

@tehbertl - Thank you for saying! That's the entire goal of the series, to let people cut their teeth on the logic without getting overwhelmed <3 -- VKP
