Took a long time for me to solve but in the end did manage to do it with pure logic. It’s a tough one though … I recommend using the letters to place as well as colours

It was very hard for me. But once one cycle of letters got resolved in mi-solve, it was pretty smooth. Thanks for sharing this colour-letter hybrid puzzle.

Response from Eric: Way to stick with it madhupt! It is a tough puzzle. Using a combination of letters and colors is definitely the way to go. Well done!

Ha! What a coloring adventure. Madness indeed. I appreciated the intricate killer logic around the cage-palindrome interactions. Resolving the colors here was hardly automatic. I enjoyed the challenge here, truly. Thank you!!

Quick question: is the lack of a total in the cage in r5c6 intentional?
---
Response from Eric: Yes, the total was left off on purpose. The cage total is not necessary to solve the puzzle. I have the cage there to keep the symmetry of the puzzle. I probably should have added that to the description and will do so now.
