PUZZLE:

RULES:

"Normal" Schrödinger rules apply.
(i.e. place the digits 0 through 9 once each in every row, column and box;
two of the digits will have to share a Schrödinger cell;
each row, column and box contains exactly one Schrödinger cell).

Normal Arrow, German Whisper (green), Killer, Kropki, Odd/Even and Renban (purple) rules apply.

Note: If a Schrödinger cell falls within --
an Arrow, German Whisper line or Killer cage, both digits contribute their value
(i.e. the constraint considers their sum only);
a Kropki dot, an Odd/Even cell or Renban line, both digits must satisfy the condition
(i.e. both are consecutive with or both are in a ratio of 1:2 with the adjacent cell; both digits are Odd or Even; or both digits are part of a consecutive, non-repeating set of digits in any order).

Note: The digit '0' is by definition an Even digit; the letter 'V' indicates a greater/lesser-than relationship between those two cells.

MODIFIER:

Spin the Wheel: You have ten rupees to spend!

The three green boxes will add up to ten [10] total - modify the grid, depending on what digits are placed in Row 9, Column(s) 2/5/8 (only one combination of items will be valid, to be deduced by the solver).

No counterfeit currency! (only single digits are permitted within those cells).

a) if a '0' is placed,
add a Compass to the shop

b) if a '1' is placed,
add an Arrow to the shop

c) if a '2' is placed,
add a Candle to the shop

d) if a '3' is placed,
add a Hookshot to the shop

e) if a '4' is placed,
add a Sword to the shop

f) if a '5' is placed,
add a Flute to the shop

g) if a '6' is placed,
add a Bow

h) if a '7' is placed,
add a Raft to the shop

i) if a '8' is placed,
add a Bomb to the shop

j) if a '9' is placed,
add a Super Bomb to the shop

Fine, I'll buy somethin'! Wow, what an inspired and slightly bonkers puzzle. I loved it.

It's just a beautiful puzzle. Probably one of the most innovative things I've seen this year.

Awesome puzzle ! Turning a sudoku puzzle into a role playing game is such an exciting innovation !
I was a huge fan of the first Zelda when I was a kid, so it triggered very nice memories of the many hours I spent exploring the map of the game, purchasing various items in the shops on the way.
The "impossible" items were really fun too, even if they were not part of the final grid. Very well done and looking forward for the next quest :)

This is probably the most innovative and creative puzzles I’ve ever done! The logic that comes from a changing board leads to some beautiful deductions, and I love the interactions that evolve from the introduction of 0s & S-cells into German Whispers.

I had a lot of fun with this, but it does mess with your head a bit.
