I cannot understand how you can get the snake to escape from below the lowest rows. Whatever I try it seems too constrained. Just checking if I get the translated rules correctly: for every row or column where hints are given, one and only one of them indicates the total cells that belong to the snake in that row or column?
@MazzleFlush: It is possible that a row or column doesn't contain any snake cells; in that case there is no snake clue given. (The last sentence in the rules: No 0 hints are given.)

A clarification for english speaking users (since it wasn't entirely clear to me): it is possible for a row or column to only contain coral clues, as the snake clue would then be 0 and disappear.
