As promised here is another Slitherlink variant, inspired by the "Bahnhöfe" ruleset on the portal - though given that a Slitherlink loop cannot cross itself, and doesn't need to visit every vertex, the logic is probably more similar to Slalom. I think the puzzle is easy for the most part, but there is a harder step.

after hitting the block, my solution was to throw a mental string at the board and sorting it out. i guess that is topological insight.

Very enjoyable connectivity logic here ! I agree it is rather straightforward once you've considered that slightly harder step past the opening sequence. But that harder step is also what makes this puzzle interesting. Thanks :)
